Human Trafficking Search (HTS) is the global resource and research database on human trafficking. The database consists of academic journals, reports, research studies, congressional testimony, news articles, and other primary and secondary sources, carefully researched and curated by experts in the field. It is updated regularly and contains information in multiple languages, on 120 countries. The database is searchable by keyword, country, organization, and by theme.
First developed in 2006, HTS provides knowledge and information to service providers, advocates, law enforcement professionals, students, researchers, and anyone with an interest in this topic. In addition to the database, HTS offers background information, videos, a daily newsfeed, art, a weekly blog and more, all focused on human trafficking. HTS aims to increase public awareness and facilitate the elimination of human trafficking worldwide. HTS also publishes original research and timely analysis on current events and trends.
HTS is a project of the OLP Foundation. The OLP Foundation is based in Washington, DC and strives to promote creative and innovative solutions to human trafficking and trauma, poverty, and inequality.
