Learn About Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women
November is Native American Heritage Month in the United States. Honor this month by learning about how human and labor trafficking affects Native American communities, particularly women.
ISD started its operation in 1999 to rehabilitate women and children of cyclone affected areas. During this intervention, we came across victims of domestic violence and trafficking survivors, and their sufferings persuaded us to work on them. The immediate solution was to rehabilitate them in shelter homes.
